Due to continued success Exchange Communications are looking to recruit the following vacancies based at our Head Office in Glasgow:

Sales Executive
(Salary dependent on experience + car + commission)

Required Skills

• A demonstrable track record of B2B sales within the telecoms industry, minimum 3 year’s experience.
• Knowledge of the Avaya portfolio, hosted telephony, mobile and managed services operations.
• Commercial understanding – ability to work to the company’s precise sales methods and negotiate deals successfully.
• Ability to work to and exceed set monthly/quarterly/yearly targets.
• Ability to build a sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of sales.
• Fast learner and passion for sales.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
• Professional manner and confident communicator- proficiency in English.
• Excellent written and presentation skills.
• Excellent team player.
• IT literate – Salesforce experience preferred.
• Full clean driving licence, held for a minimum of one year.

Responsibilities

• Achieve personal sales targets.
• Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and working with in house telesales, to build a sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve better results – Telesales, Marketing and Sales Manager
• Attend meetings with potential customers, prepare and deliver appropriate presentations and close sales.
• Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
• Ensure full knowledge of company portfolio (products and services) is attained and imparted to prospective clients.
• Attain Avaya accreditations as directed by your line manager.
• Maintain and update ‘Salesforce’ Database.
• Attend training courses as directed by Sales Manager/Director.
• Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.

Telesales Executive (Maternity cover – 9 months and temporary contract – 9 months)
(Salary dependent on experience)

Required Skills

• A strong track record in telesales with B2B experience of winning new business.
• The ability to work and exceed set monthly/quarterly/yearly targets.
• A motivated self starter and excellent team player.
• Professional manner and confident communicator.
• Excellent written and presentation skills.
• IT literate.
• A background in telecommunications is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Source/target prospective clients with the purpose of attaining sales appointments and building a database pipeline.
• Ensure full knowledge of Exchange portfolio (products and services) is attained and imparted to prospective clients.
• Maintain and update ‘SalesForce’ Database.
• Deliver on monthly personal/group target(s).
• Lead management – generation and follow-up.
• Attend training courses as directed by Sales Manager/Director.
